Although I played hooky two days out of the week I feel completely drained! Ughhhh! I picked up the moneypit (minivan). Hubby laughed as I grimaced when the fast talking mechanic read our price aloud. 183.00 labor. For 20 minutes of works tops? The only reason we took the vehicle to get serviced by the honda dudes is because of a silly little light that goes on after a set amount of miles. According to them, only honda mechanics can shut it off (I call it Honda auto mechanic JOB SECURITY) and much to my displeasure both honda vehicles have had this issue (my pepboys buddies couldn't figure out how to do it). This week I'm -$440.00 from both repairs and auto "maintenance" (What an injustice!) .

On a more positive note, I managed to get dinner in the oven early and am on my way to shop at the commissary. I love it there! Things are soo much cheaper than civillian grocery stores.. BUT you have to know what to buy.. sometimes the prices are a bit steep (Hubby almost bought a $5.00 basket of cherry tomatoes). I've devised my grocery list and will now rummage through my coupon bin since i'm on a tight food budget til payday.
